One of the girls at work last night was proudly finishing a nice little display board featuring the store graduates from the class of 2009. She did a very nice job, but I informed her that she left one off, which was me. As she looked confused, and wasn't sure how to react, the girl standing next to her said "College graduation doesn't count."
I had to refrain from saying, "Bitch, please! you put yourself through 120 credits of college without mommy and daddy paying for it and then tell me it doesn't count."
I have worked my ass off for what I have accomplished, and I am nothing but greatful to my friends and family for the support they have given me. Don't tell me it doesn't count!
I'm just sayin'
